The Cinco Ranch High School Choir Booster Club (CBC) is an independent non-profit, run by a board of parent volunteers designed to support, encourage, and advance programming for all choirs at Cinco Ranch High School. Designated as a 501-(c)3 non-profit organization, all donations are tax-deductible to the extent that it exceeds the value of attending an event. We are financed through Booster Club Membership, private patron donors, and corporate matching funds. If your company has a matching gift program, please consider approaching your employer about applying for this extra donation. Some corporations may provide grants for their employees and their family members who volunteer in the community. Please let us know if you need assistance in completing any required paperwork.
The CRHS CBC supports the over 200 choir students on campus. The success of the CRHS choirs is based on our talented students, dedicated directors, our Choir Booster Club Board, and the volunteer hours YOU choose to contribute throughout the year. We invite you to become a choir booster club member. This is our largest annual fundraiser, and works as an investment in the fine arts choral education of our Cougar Choir students.
Booster Club Dues (minimum $30 Ruby Level) help fund the purchase, maintenance, and repair of uniforms, garment bags, transportation, sheet music, sound equipment, copyright rights, instrumental accompanists, clinicians, insurance, website hosting, and all other expenses required to run this award-winning program.
The CRHS CBC Executive Board meets regularly during the school year; General Membership Meeting dates are emailed out as needed, occasionally posted on the charms calendar. Please consider volunteering and/or joining the CBC and becoming an active participant in the Choir program.
The objectives of the Choir Booster Club are...
- to support the policies set by the Board of Trustees and the Administration of the Katy Independent School District and the Choir Directors
- to promote parent understanding of activities, opportunities, and objectives for students in the choir program
- to secure closer contact and communication between parents, students and the choral staff
- to promote music culture in the community by fostering concert attendance and public support of choir activities, thereby giving moral support to the students
- to provide financial benefit and management in areas necessary for realizing the objectives of the CRHS Choir program
